No More Politics...

... at least not here. :)

I have tried very hard to keep politics off of this blog, it's not what this blog is all about, though some of it does bleed over from time to time, and it's not what I am all about either. So, I decided it was time to start a new blog so that if I have a political rant that I need to get off of my chest, I can post it over there.

I'm warning you right now that the other blog will probably offend some of you, so if you tend to be more left leaning, then you should probably stick to reading this blog and stay away from that one. I can say that I read many blogs where I disagree with the blog author's political leanings, but I'm willing to overlook that to get to the good stuff that they write. I hope you are willing to do the same for me.

So from now on, I'll do my utmost best to keep the politics off this blog and keep it about off grid stuff. Go here to read about my political musings.

  1. I like the off grid stuff without politics. Its not that I disagree with a person's politics, its more that they just don't interest me. I live in Canada, grew up in Tennessee and have never voted in my life. I don't really care who the government is nor do I know what party does what, as long as they leave me alone.

I love the off grid daily living posts!

  2. Thanks Sheryl, yeah, I used to be more like you, I didn't vote, and I didn't care who was in charge as long as they left me alone... the problem is now they aren't leaving me alone, there are laws being set that directly affect me and my life, laws that I do not like nor agree with, so this is my line in the sand. I detest politics, but now in order to defend myself, my way of life, and my freedoms, I choose to become more politically active, I just hope it's not too late.

  3. I don't like the politics either, and want to be left alone. Hard lesson that I learned was that I must pay attention to politics, local and state and national.
Because it directly affects me, mine, my homestead.

Politics invades every aspect of my life.

Wretha, keep posting. It's your blog.
We are your guests. If we don't like it, we can leave.
