Looney Tunes: Old Glory (1939)

As many of you know, I don't own a TV (gave it to our neighbor), I get most of my entertainment through the internet. I don't watch a lot of TV shows, fortunately the ones I do like are streamed over the 'net. Tonight while checking out Fancast, I found a Looney Toons section, I love the old Bugs Bunny cartoons. I found this particular cartoon, it's too bad that this isn't shown like it used to be. Anyhoo, watch, enjoy, remember...

  1. It was like going back to the movies when I was a small kid!

Of course the cartoon always was the last thing shown so it would keep everyone in their seat to the end.

This a great short history lesson and you could not even begin to teach this in classes today.

  3. Did you notice anything missing from the pledge? This cartoon was made before they added the words "Under God". It wasn't added until 1954.

Thanks for the trip down memory lane,I pray that this nation return to those founding principles soon.

  4. I would love it if they returned to the old pledge that was there before the Red scare, we were far more unified before we started all this self accusation and in fighting
